Fletcher Davis, among other stake holders, in coordination with the University of Florida and Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, examined the current and potential future impacts of sea level rise on natural and developed areas in the Matanzas River estuary and watershed. We are committed to protecting this area, while still accommodating for projected population growth, to maintain quality of life, local economies, and wildlife. Our role was not only one of public interaction, technical input and oversight, but ultimately, Fletcher Davis placed thousands of key, contiguous acres of land into conservation in order to protect the estuary and region.
