At nearly 5,400 acres, Fish Tail is one of the largest mitigation banks in Florida. It provides significant ecological and hydrological improvements to Pellicer Creek, Matanzas River, and Crescent Lake Watersheds. It services basins 9 and 16 and is permitted to have more than 600 state and federal mitigation credits. Fletcher Davis is currently “un-doing” many years of silviculture activities in order to restore the area to pre-industrial Florida landscapes and natural systems.
